    I have just started researching Picassa and find it rather interesting. Picassa is a program that stores all your photos in one place. Picassa also allows you to zoom, crop, fix red eyes as well as blemishes, make slide shows and movies.

    There are 4 main features of Picassa
    1. collection all together
    2. Editing of photos
    3. Creation of movies and slide shows
    4. Sharing of photos

    System Requirements:
    ~100 MB available hard disk space
    ~256 MB RAM
    ~downloading albums requires a browers similar to firefox called Mozilla
    ~Linux systemw x86 compatable processor
    ~Glibe 2.3.2 or greater and working X11 display system

    I think that this is a great program. I have so many boxes of photos that I don't always remember where the ones I am looking for are located. I look forward to learning more about your chosen technology.

    This tool will be great in organizing all those photo's we have stuffed everywhere. I need to research more on this technology...the organization would be wonderful!

    I started using Picasa about a month ago. Its perfect my me. I now have all my photos in one spot. So when I'm sending new pictures of grandkids, I don't have to stop and look through all the memory cards. Yeah!
